Company Director & Ear Care Clinician
HCA, Audiology Apprentice
Grant has a Masters in Music and has run a successful Audio Production company for several years. In 2018, after immigrating from South Africa, Grant joined the audiology industry and quickly became passionate about patient care.
He completed a Hearing Care Assistant course as well as a Microsuction Ear Wax Removal course. After seeing well over 2000 patients, his proficiency in the skill has led him to locum for some of the top audiologists in the country. In 2024, Grant began his journey to qualify as a registered audiologist with an apprenticeship degree from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge.
Due to his newfound passion in health care, Grant decided to start Hawthorn Hearing to expand the quality of care and services available in the South East, including a home-visit service providing ear wax removal and hearing aid care across Kent and Surrey.
Grant still runs his audio production services, and when he isn’t seeing patients or studying for his audiology degree, Grant is often behind a piano or guitar.
